Worth buying this video and sitting back in the warmth of your home watching the Curbsyde Team of Joe & Flora Lloyd, Paul Mondor and Jesse Clark on their personal journeys to Tuktoyaktuk in the middle of winter on two BMW F800GS bikes. I am going to have to review this video one day from an amateur’s preservative. Very well done, HD, and as always in Joe and Flora’s videos you will learn something about the history and culture where they ride to and from.

THE MOST INCREDIBLE AURORA OF 2012
In this absolutely incredible image by Jónína Óskarsdóttir, we see an aurora spotted on March 8, 2012, shimmering over snow-covered mountains in Faskrudsfjordur, Iceland. Geomagnetic storms due to coronal mass ejections (CMEs) earlier in the week have increased in strength, and are now rated a G3 on a scale from G1 to G5.
This space weather is due to the March 7 activity from the sun that caused rapid changes to the shape of Earth’s magnetosphere – the bubble of protective magnetic fields surrounding the planet — resulting in a geomagnetic storm. As of March 8, the storm was fairly mild since the magnetic fields from the CMEs were partially aligned with Earth’s own and thus slid around the magnetosphere.

SFPD “It gets better” video
Bullying needs to become OBSOLETE! Too many wasted lives over sexuality, confusion and BULLYING! This is so well done and we would like to CONGRATULATE the SFPD for putting this together. I can see Cheryl doing something like this for the RCMP one day!
Mayor Lee & Chief Suhr Unveil First of its Kind LGBT Youth Video.
The San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) along with Mayor Ed Lee is proud to announce the debut of the “SFPD It Gets Better” video project as part of the nationwide campaign to end bullying of LGBT youth. The video provides a message of transformation, hope and encouragement to LGBT yo…uth that it does get better. The SFPD is the first and only Police Department in the country to produce a video for the campaign.
“It Gets Better” is a nationwide project, that offers support and encouragement to youth who are struggling with their sexual identity or bullied for being “different.” These messages of hope let young people know that they are not alone and that help is available.
