June 2012 – Business & Pleasure (all pics are clickable for HiRez size)
June 15th – June 18th Leslie was taking a course about Hospital Development and Organ Donation. Cheryl flew down on the 15th for some R & R while I was in my course. Great course sponsored by NATCO and was useful to attend even though we do things much differently in Canada.
While we were away Cheryl’s cousin Taylor and boyfriend Dave took care of our “kids” and house…they have a little Chihuahua, Olive which made 4 dogs and an elderly cat for them to care for over a week. They always help out these “kids” and that also meant they were here for 44 days last summer while we were up north. We trust them immensely.
Intro to OUR Cager Adventure – to be con’t
When we get home I will put together a post showing all that we did while down in Arizona once Leslie’s course was finished. First few days were business and then we had 4 days to explore. Goal was to see the Grand Canyon as much as we could. We drove, yes I mean drove our bikes are at home, over 1000 miles in 3 days. It was HOT but fun. ALL PICS ARE CLICKABLE for HiRES
Here are a few sample pics we took while driving in our a/c cage!

10 places you should visit before you die
I guess it’s kind of sad that I, Leslie have only been to the Milford Sound and Antelope Canyon….I guess we have a lot more traveling to do!

From great architectural feats to breathtaking natural beauty, the world is full of fascinating places to see before you die. Thanks to films such as The Bucket List, starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, making life lists of things to do before you kick the bucket has become popular with those determined to embrace all the world has to offer while they are still alive. So if you want to enrich your life by visiting diverse and outrageously beautiful places, then here is a list of ten places to see before you die.

2012 Possible Trip
These are rough routes of some of our possible 2012 trips. Would be from middle of May to June. We would most likely go through Alberta more heading back from Flagstaff, Arizona. Please post any MUST ride DS roads anywhere along this route. We will maybe have 24 days. All depends as usual with work.

2012 OVERLAND EXPO, Flagstaff, Arizona
Both Cheryl and I are thinking a trip to Flagstaff, Arizona should be one of our trips next year. This Expo seems like a great opportunity to not only meet many very experienced ADV riders, but to take classes in DS riding, see new equipment, learn about making better videos, outdoor camping/cooking and a whole lot more. Due to the distance we would most likely have to take at least three weeks maybe more. Flagstaff is about a 5000 KM round trip from where we live.
We have not taken our bikes to the Southwest yet and this Expo makes it an easy decision to put these States on our map.
