If anyone has been around the Parliament Building in Ottawa you will know what we are doing in this picture is not the most legal. There is not parking or stopping in front of this building…the funny thing is I made Cheryl stop for a photo OP…but look in the back ground….RCMP cruiser. Cheryl is a cop too! oops!
I feel the need to highlight another ADV trip. We met Guillaume at Pacific Motosports back in July the day he was leaving on his 6 month trip. Nice guy, got himself a brand new 2012 F800GS that day and seriously after we got done speaking about his lone adventure he was off on day 1.
I have been checking in on him and his blog. He will soon be heading to South America for his final leg. Check him out….we love supporting “fellow” explorers and at the same time a bit envious that so many riders are out there riding while many of us are working….;-) Meet Guillaume!

Summer 2012 although not completely over has been an interesting one. We did not get away as much as we did last summer (Triumph Alaska Adventure 2011 – 44 days)

What a beautiful day! Cheryl and I got to go out for a ride today without work on our minds and nothing but sun. It is unusual for us to ride in all SUN but we will take this. Also I realized something today, I think I can make anything into a BLOG post. So many around me especially Cheryl asks…..”What the hell are you blogging about now?” Well, not sure but I keep posting it seems. It’s fun, I am learning things as this BLOG grows and most importantly it’s a constructive distraction from everyday life. So, I guess that is what I am blogging about….everything and anything that seems interesting.
Even today’s little ride to lunch was fun. Taking pictures does not take away from our riding it adds to it. This blog is a journal of our trips, our lives and the many things we find interesting. That’s what it is all about….nothing more nothing less. I think I have answered that question, “what the Hell am I Blogging about!”
