I would hope if you are riding in jeans that your jeans have Kevlar in them at the very least.  These Sliders look the part and would hopefully do the trick if you were to find yourself in a slide….anything is better than just Levi’s.  ;-) Stay safe.

Why wearing jeans on a motorcycle is a really bad idea


Beware some pics are very graphic….this is my warning.  Safety is something we take seriously and I truly appreciate the humility of this article and the pics to prove that wearing no protection and the theory that plain old jeans are better than nothing…well???? In the ranks of embarrassing pictures you could have posted on the Internet of yourself, I’m going to guess this one is close to the top. Yeah, that’s my ass, clearly visible through my shredded Y-fronts, rubbed raw and bleeding from sliding down the road. Those undies provided about as much protection as the Levis 511s I was wearing, which is to say none. This happened at around 35 to 40mph.
