THE AMAZING CUSTOM LIFT!

You never know what you’ll see when at your dealer.  This time I met Tom who rides a 1200GSA. He invented a lift to go into his customized 5th Wheel Hauler rig.  Amazing!  Tom got his invention made specifically for his rig initially for his Harley but decided he was a BMW man after learning to ride for the first time at age 45.  Very cool, probably the coolest thing I have ever seen for the LOVE of a bike!  What do you think?

Made a video of the loading of his bike….have a look!

The Norton Project

Thanks Jackie for this link!

Last December 2011 Cheryl & I surprised my parents with a quick visit to NY for an after Christmas and my mother’s 75th birthday present.  That was a once in a lifetime even we believe.  Now, watch this very well done video where two son’s surprise their father by restoring his old Norton.  This video is amazing in more ways than one and well worth watching the entire thing.  It’s like an entire movie in 12 mins.  Great editing, great production and most of all such a display of LOVE!

This is a story about how my brother and I stole our father’s 1969 Norton Commando, had it restored and then gave it back to him for Christmas. He had no idea.
